We are metalheads based in Amsterdam who enjoy going to concerts, taking photos (and sometimes videos) and sharing those with the rest of the world.
We regularly attend concerts all over the Netherlands, especially if they are within an hour or so from Amsterdam. Once in a while, we will go further afield to attend festivals in Europe.
This Web site is meant for anyone interested in metal music to discover what related events are happening, and find photos, videos and/or gig reports for past events.
We aim to cover concerts in the metal genre and associated music, e.g. heavy/speed/thrash/death/black metal, grindcore, hardcore, punk, industrial, electronic, heavy rock, film music etc
We may also occasionally cover art exhibitions, movie screenings or any other type of event that may interest fans of extreme music.
The Events Web app lists events we know of, with a focus on the Netherlands for now. Events of interest may be starred; they are then stored in your browser's IndexedDB, not on our server. We won't know what event you are interested in.
On your next visit, it will remember events you starred. The list will hopefully be updated as soon as we become aware of new events.
We hope to build upon it and add new features over the coming months. The goal is for the Events app to faciliate finding, tracking and enjoying metal events.
